Cristi Czuleger, Esq. - Partner
Cristi Czuleger became a partner of the firm in October of 2007 and the new partnership, to Davidson & Czuleger, LLP was formed on August 1, 2014. Cristi handles all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from open to close. In addition to representing insurance carriers, third party administrators and employers, Cristi also specializes in aggressively fighting lien claimants and working with SIU departments including litigation of liens with respect to provider fraud, excessive treatment/excessive billing and Official Medical Fee Schedule disputes.

Jimmy Blalock, Esq. - Partner
Jimmy Blalock joined the firm in July 2016, he represents insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and employers in defense of workers’ compensation actions. Before joining Davidson and Czuleger, Jimmy was in-house counsel for Pacific Compensation Insurance Company, developing litigation strategy directly to claims professionals and handling claims at inception. While at PCIC, he was appointed as the large-loss claims attorney. Prior to working at PCIC, Jimmy was an associate at the firm Sheppard and Woolley handling a full caseload, by focusing on high-stakes lien litigation and SIU work.

Denise Curren Davies, Esq - Associate
Denise Curren Davies has been practicing workers’ compensation law since 1992. She started her career in the industry as an in-house defense attorney working closely with claims professionals to defend against a wide variety of industrial related claims including large loss and high exposure matters. She then represented catastrophically injured workers and professional athletes in pursuit of their workers’ compensation claims. With her exclusive perspective and legal knowledge of both sides, Mrs. Davies joined Davidson & Czuleger in 2019 to provide insurance companies and employers unique litigation strategies and cost savings tactics.

Paula Hayton, Esq. - Associate
Paula Hayton has been practicing workers’ compensation law since 1993. Starting her journey with Liberty Mutual litigating defense of workers’ compensation cases. She then went on to work for, The Wheatley Firm, completing 25 years as one of the top litigators. Paula joined Davidson, Czuleger, & Blalock in 2023.

Jonathan Torres Ficachi, Esq - Associate
Jonathan Ficachi has been practicing workers’ compensation law since 2003. Starting his journey with Lagos Carrillo Abogados, S.C. in Mexico City focusing on corporate law, contracts, civil, and commercial litigation. His biggest achievement during this time was obtaining a $10 million reverse judgement for a client. He then went on to work for, Law Offices of Dennis Dascanio, completing 10 years as one of the top litigators. Jonathan joined Davidson, Czuleger, & Blalock in 2024.

Mary Evett - Hearing Representative
Mary Evett is our hearing representative/paralegal and has been working with Davidson, Czuleger, & Blalock since the inception of the firm. Previously, she was performing paralegal work with the Law Offices of Jack H. Davidson. In 2009 she became a hearing representative with regard to the litigation of liens. Mary has extensive knowledge of lien litigation and has appeared at all Southern California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Boards. Mary represents clients with respect to contribution and all lien issues including lien negotiations, Lien Conferences and Lien Trials.

Jack Davidson, Esq. - Partner (Retired)
Jack Davidson has been practicing in the defense workers’ compensation field for over 30 years. Jack began his career at State Compensation Insurance Fund and then later went into private practice and became a partner of Allen, Rhodes, & Sobelsohn. Jack has focused on the defense of workers’ compensation cases including the defense of employers relating to Serious & Willful and Labor Code Section 132(a) claims. Thereafter, he opened the Law Offices of Jack H. Davidson in January 1991 and the current partnership of Davidson & Czuleger, LLP was formed in August 2014.
